The Jonathan Fisher Trio


Jonathan’s approach to the bass is one of optimal ergonomic positioning and balance. You can feel his passion about jazz, bass and music in general, every time he plays. Paul Metzger and Friends


Paul Metzger is an old friend to Scat Jazz Lounge. Whether swinging with Johnny Reno, bopping with the Sunday Black Dog Jazz Jam or bumping with Ft. Worth's own Bertha Coolidge, he always brings the goods. Paul lets his guitar do the talking.

The Andrew Jr. Boy Jones Band featuring Kerrie Lepai


We have the Blues. The son of a big band singer, Jones acquired his moniker from his grandmother. Jones learned to play the guitar at a young age, and he joined Freddie King's backing band, the Thunderbirds, at the age of seventeen and toured with them for a couple of years. In 1967, Jones became part of Bobby Patterson's backing band, the Mustangs, playing on a number of Patterson's single releases. The powerhouse vocals of Kerrie Lepai along side Andrew and the band will make this one heck of debut to the Scat stage.

Liz Mikel's love of jazz as well as her silky, soulful style has moved audiences world wide. She's had the opportunity to open for renowned artists; Erykah Badu, Branford Marsalis, Isaac Hayes, Gennifer Flowers and most recently Joan Rivers. When she's not on stage wowing audiences, Liz can be seen on both the small and big screens. Larry Braggs was the lead vocalist for the legendary soul band Tower of Power for 14 years. In addition to recording 3 solo CDs, and 3 CDs with Tower of Power, Braggs has also added his soulful vocals to the projects of David Sanborn, Marcus Miller, CTA, and many others. Larry is also lead vocalist for CTA (California Transit Authority), led by Danny Seraphine, the original drummer for Chicago. He is now a member of the word famous Temptations.
